Customer / Project Linked shows only the projects associated with the selected customer. If linking is activated the customer and project entry boxes are coupled with a blue linking line.

When unchecked all projects are shown in red to allow easier navigation for reporting and editing with out requiring a customer link. The red highlight is to warn that records could be saved where the project and customer are not associated.

Project Reports Criteria is a setting allowing exact ( = ) or partial matching ( like ) when generating reports based on projects. This can be a very useful function depending on how you have numbered your projects.
If your projects were numbered as follows you could select all the components of product by selecting the 'like' criteria.
If you entered '100024' in the project box and then went to the reports - Project Summary you may very well have data returned for a product and all its sub assemblies.
100024 - Widget Control
100024F - SubAss F-Panel
100024P - SubAss power
100024S - SubAss switch
...... etc.
However if you entered 100024F and used the 'exact' criteria selection only the sub assembly front panel for product 100024 would be reported on.

There is a caveat on using the 'like' scenario if you haven't given much thought on your numbering system.  For example, if you had numbered your product '24' and used the 'like' criteria selection you may well have a report that returns information on:
24 - Widget Control
24F - SubAss F-Panel
24P - SubAss power
24S - SubAss switch
124 - Pump
3246 - Detector
3246A - SubAss Detector
...... etc.
This situation can be corrected by padding the project number with a leading number sequence so that the numbers above now look like the listing below. This can be done from the projects form  and selecting the 'Change Project No' option from the settings Menu. This action will update all the saved records of the selected project in the current data base.
100024 - Widget Control
100024F - SubAss F-Panel
100024P - SubAss power
100024S - SubAss switch
124 - Pump
3246 - Detector
3246A - SubAss Detector
...... etc.
Re-entering '100024' will now return the correct results.

  Erase Last Entry
This allows deletion of last saved entry if it is realised that it has been saved in error. This is only available when other saved records aren't pending.
